Welcome

FRANCHISE COMPANIES LOVE HAVING VETERANS AS FRANCHISEES. HERE’S WHY

AMERICA VALUES ITS VETERANS
We Americans live in a country that truly appreciates its men and women in uniform. We understand the sacrifices they’ve made to protect our security and freedoms. We know they’ve been willing to put their safety in jeopardy to protect ours. And we’re aware that many have delayed or passed up educational and job opportunities by reason of their call to service.
So, when these public servants return to civilian life as veterans, we want to help them, and that assistance takes many forms. The military as well as educational institutions provide guidance and support for those veterans who want to pursue further education. Many employers are eager to hire veterans because of the skills they’ve acquired. And for those veterans who have always dreamt of running their own business, there are franchise companies ready to bring them into the fold.
IDEALISM AND PATRIOTISM
Franchise companies value and actively seek veterans as franchise owners for a number of reasons. The first reason is philosophical. These companies are patriotic and eager to show their gratitude to those who have served our country.
PRACTICAL REASONS
The other reasons are more practical.  In fact, they’re based on healthy self-interest. Veterans are disciplined and trained to be good observers and listeners – crucial skills for running a business. They have a strong work ethic, display leadership skills and function well as part of a team. Most fundamentally, vets know how to plan for and carry out a mission. That’s key to success in any endeavor.
It should come as no surprise under those circumstances that 97% of franchise companies believe veterans make good franchise owners. 70% have brought a veteran aboard as a franchisee or employee in just the last year. Right now, 14% of veterans are franchise owners. That’s double their percentage of the population. And based upon their record of success as business owners, those numbers are sure to climb.
So, if you’re a veteran who has always been fascinated by business ownership, franchise ownership is a well-trod and demonstrated path to entrepreneurship. Franchises come in all varieties and industries. There’s a franchise to fit practically any budget.
And when you buy a franchise, you’re not just buying a proven business system. You’re buying a team of helpers who will train, mentor and continue to support you behind the scenes for as long as you own the business.
When you own and run a franchise, you’re both exercising leadership and working as part of a team. For a veteran, that’s a familiar and comforting place to be. And it can also be your road to financial independence.
